Well hello! I’m Corbett thank you to all those who have been out there supporting this channel we now have over 1 million 200,000 views on this channel today I’m going to show you how to change the battery on a key fob for a c7 Corvette it is very similar to that of the c6 Corvette you will need a couple of things one being the key fob a small screwdriver a cr2032 replacement battery and if you have the owner’s manual turn it to page of the owner’s manual if you don’t have that I’m gonna provide you a copy of that just in case with that let’s go ahead and get started there’s the key fob we’ll go ahead and pop out the key and we’ll use the back end of it turn the emblem side up and insert it into this area right here.
See how I popped I’ll show you that a little more right here see here and put a little bit of pressure on it let’s see how it popped open right here then when that would just take the screwdriver all the way around just like this that shows us the battery we’re gonna pop the battery out go ahead and replace the battery with a new one and install reverse order and there it is cuz all I did was make sure that all the edges are clean make sure all the edges are clean and flush all the way around reinstall the key new battery replaced here we go now, of course, the final test is making sure it works there we go.
