HOW TO REPLACE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND FILTER ACURA HONDA TL ILX MDX RDX RLX ZDX TUTORIAL

Oh down the little taken out taking out this front box this air duct just pop up the clips one two three four flathead miss you off that box transmission filter down there sorry Donald so first we’ll turn out the transmission change that out all right so now just connect the battery terminals to Melita let’s screw the other ten delete it right here once you disconnect these to 1000 meters on the battery there’s a cover slot on the bottom tray so I’m gonna lift that out lift it out the battery tray with the battery you got a closer look at looks like the 10-meter right here on the top and use the needle nose pliers pull the clamps off pull this clamp and pull that clamp over first I’m gonna drain out the transmission and and then go from there take out this just like this put in the transmission break it loose so right now I’m gonna jack up the transmission from I’m gonna check out the engine from massage and then slide it under and drain it out drink all this in the middle so you just take the creates socket right here well with a 3/8 socket in so right now broke the nut the bolt loose well I did was put the hammer I mean just ratchet on and then hit it with a rubber hammer and then I’m loose in the bring bolt three chords four chords minor chords for six course so it’s all six chords so I’m gonna lower the car down off the jacks name so most of the Fluke and right now cuz right now have a jacked up and all the fluid is like leaning to the right side so I’m gonna jack up the left side of the car the driver side so most of the fluid drain out into the oil pan so I can start on the taking out the filter after this fully drains out its gonna dream about three and a half three quarts it’s leaning sideways so that’s why it’s not you know so I’m gonna shut the car put the drain plug back in transmission filter part number – five four three zero – Pilar – zero zero three so this one’s gonna go down there place that one that down so I’m gonna loosen that tell me to pull the clamps off its hole in the bracket that was holding there’s a token in place so push the bracket to the side pull the transmission filter out what I’m gonna do is I disconnect the hoses now needlenose pliers pull the clamps off and then go from there have to take out the whole damn battery tray this was a 10 that goes here Accra needs to be kicked in the head for this it’s 110 that goes here 112 that goes here then you gotta unscrew this 10 millimeter here that plug that goes into this the genius’s another two bolts under here one and two and then they put another one here so one bolts into this here and then other two bolts into here so you have to reach under the cover on the back –it what I use was a long 12 millimeter swivel head sock it to get on the day to reach to get those Scrolls it was I think the middle one was a 10 millimeter and then these 2 or 12 so you would have to reach under this to take this out I have the reach under the bracket here to get to it in order to get to the ball see it’s like it’ll be one hand that’s what that one plug for tune into another hole there yeah that’s how he wanted you to do it I don’t know that’s retarded you know you get to the transmission field so I use the needle nose pliers and I wiggled the line off on both sides so the brackets already lost a little transmission fluid is draining out this is the old filter this is a new one no one we’re gonna put in now like that bracket with the lines back on and put the slide that holds us back on and then go from there put some holes I’m gonna put some cloths under it’s a stop it filter in basically the new holes is just they just slid right on just slide the new hoses on both end use the knee nose pliers clamp it you push the clamp together and then slide it up and that’s what I did on both sides claim back on that sits here and tighten the ten millimeter bolt to lock it in place and I put everything back and I’m good to go filter then like I said I just put on the bevel here and then the screw goes through here we go so I’m gonna put in a ten millimeter bolt and I’m gonna catch back the video then so now I’m stuck in this tree the battery tray so there’s a 12 and then this is a 10 gonna screw those in they don’t screw in the other bolts on the bottom and start going over screws down so let me screw back in the end put the battery all the fittings back and then go from the battery end well let it was lift the battery with the tray and just sit the tray down to sit it down then this battery tie downs hook the hook into this one in the back tighten down on ten millimeter screws this air duct back in yes I can this my game so these clips are in put the battery terminals back on engine covers filter the thin down in the bottom that’s it change the filter if you guys have any questions feel free to ask I’m gonna do a finishing up video check everything to make sure there’s no leaks and then everything and to make sure the sound is gone at the start of the gurgling sound like a sound that you would get in the beginning when I started it’s not any the police it was the transmission filter this one was cloth the older ones so I installed a new one and i’ma sit I hope the video was helpful enough for you guys and if you guys have any questions feel free to ask don’t forget to Like share and subscribe peace damn it’s good to go Oh a little bit of US fluid it this is from the transmission so I placed up top so it’s just a little off a little bit in the plastic cover right down best you can that’s it so now we’ll drop the car since this is tight washers good now we’re gonna refill it all right check out the dipstick that goes right here so take it out instead of thinking that out you could just fill it up here from the dipstick so that’s what I’m gonna do come up with a funnel there’s funnel right here this long funnel having my Amazon store so if you’re interested you can pick it up in my Amazon store I’m gonna put it in three and a half quarts so fill this up when they kiss back the video like the video um what happened was as you filling it up through the dipstick that automatic transmission dipstick it looked very very very very slowly because it’ll bubble and come out kind of made a little mess down there kind of spilled on the bottom a little but that’s when filling it up here but um if you can’t get that filled ball off because some people have a problem of wrecking it moves I broke it loose already I just want some this is just another way another option this is a 17 millimeter so you could just break that off with a 17 millimeter and a breaker ball but if you can’t get that awful you don’t have a 17 millimeter and a break of all you can fit it through the dipstick but when you fill it through the dipstick make sure you fill it very very very slow to get all the courts in so you need about three point three quarts or three and a half you can look on the side of the bottle it’ll show you you know how much is left in it you know so you could just do half will be five you know will be four hundred would be half so you can just stop at the line because it shows you how much fluid is in there on the line right now just checking for leaks I’m gonna start the car again I just started it so now I’m gonna check it again you guys don’t have to put the key in ignition I could just technology package obj as you can see there’s no leaks the filters right down there you know you can get to go just fit again and you can hear and you gotta check the bottom on the side here leaks growing both here no meat as you can see like a kite a little bit of a fluid leak down into the cover on the bottom right that’ll rinse out after a while I might just take a hose and sprayed on the wall just to clean out some of the track there’s something that I got into the plastic pan under underneath of it well I might just leave it it would come out while I’m driving or whatever but on here so everything is good in check set the dipstick level so it has to be between the two dots No yep right between good boy all right the job is finished change the transmission filter out the new transmission fluid in your field some IT teams and I’ve seen the air filter inside here you just replace that I’m gonna replace it when I get a chance but on don’t check engine light inside you guys have any questions feel free to ask don’t like the lights and subscribe and enjoy please comment.
